Looking fantabulous. Are you going to trim the body of the doublet, too?

How are you with kirtle patterning? I'm thinking a simple boned kirtle is going to be less intimidating for me to get done quickly than a corset (and more appropriate in many circumstances). Do you suppose I could use the corset pattern generator and move the seams around for a more period cut?

(I don't have any plans this evening...if you don't encourage me to sew, I will DO HOMEWORK and that would be, like, wrong on a Friday night.)

I'm considering trim on the body. But I think I'm about to run out so some of that trim may become linen strips like on Maria's sleeve. (Frankly I like the yellow so much, and the pattern, that I don't know that I want to break it up that much heh.)

And I'm great with kirtles, and boning, so I can help with whatever you need, there. (Like I've said, I'm awesome at fitting other people, just not ME.)

You could come over. We're going to be inundated with fighter guys at 7 o clock, so having a GIRL here would rock. I'll even keep Kelson from trapping you in his room. Hee.

Awesome! I haven't prewashed the fabric yet, but a pattern would be a start. I'm about to leave campus--I'll give you a call after I have et and showered.
